Paige and David were married on November 9, 2019 in Rockford, Michigan. Paige was elegantly dressed in a white strapless babydoll wedding dress, paired with a white faux fur shawl and a homemade hoop bouquet decorated with warm, rich autumnal colored florals. Her wedding dress was her third one because, you may not be able to tell in the photos, but she is 6 months pregnant! She accessorized with dainty gold jewelry and a stunning updo half up half down tousled hair by Amanda McGrail Salon. The day was surprisingly sunny, but still only 30 degrees in the Michigan pre-winter chill! Both Paige and David were so excited for their first look which took place under a gorgeous pavilion in downtown Rockford near the city's famous picturesque dam.
We traveled down a wooden, snow-covered boardwalk, further into the fall woods, for their family formals where the sun began streaming and glowing between the trees.
The ceremony and reception took place at the Rockford Community Cabin, a rustic, quaint log cabin complete with a large stone fireplace. Their decor was all handmade by family - Hoop bouquets, floral garlands, and tea light candles.
Paige and David knew even before planning their wedding that they wanted to have a fun, lighthearted wedding filled with lots of delicious treats (they both have a very big sweet tooth!). Their dessert table was covered with a three tier Rice Krispie Treat cake with gold dinosaur wedding toppers, homemade cookies, cotton candy, popcorn, and a root beer float bar!
Their day was 100% their own which is why their day was so amazing. Each detail was intentional and reflected their relationship and their care for each other. So cheers to the new Mr. and Mrs. Henders!
