Megan and Blake were married in August on their family's backyard property in Rockford, Michigan. It was the most charming and quaint day with an outdoor ceremony overlooking a pergola covered in grape vines, sunflower accents, and a reception in a high vaulted wooden barn.
They incorporated so many unique and whimsical details that were true to their personalities and relationship, like bouquets made from pages of books, frosted glasses engraved with quotes from their favorite shows, and even used books that have special places in their hearts as party favors! As self-proclaimed nerds, Megan and Blake perfectly meshed their interests into unforgettable and completely unique details. Yes please!!!!
Megan wore a stunning tea length wedding dress with a sparkling tiara headband, pearl accents, and lime green yellow velvet chunky heels. Their sunflower-themed wedding cake and cupcakes completely tied their day together.
Megan and Blake's intimate and laid back backyard wedding led to them to need less hours of photography coverage and I was so happy to help! While there are wedding photography packages for 6-8 hours of coverage, I also offer per hour wedding coverage to those looking for smaller, shorter, or more elopement-style coverage. I am so incredibly happy that these two decided to do things their own way on their most amazing day!
